ann1bell Posted December 20, 2010 #1 Share Posted December 20, 2010 Just got a great deal on the Hilton Riverside New Orleans on lastminutetravel. It is for Jan 22. It was a mystery hotel for 56 dollars for one night. After all fees the room was 68 dollars. It is right next to the Fulton Garage so we will park there. It was listed as in the Warehouse district which is really the arts district/downtown. Thought that was a fine deal!

Probably, 4 to 5 blocks away. You did get a great rate at the Hilton. I have stayed there several times and is a fine hotel. It is across the street from Harrahs Casino, if you are interested. If you decided to park at the Hilton, beware that their parking fees range from $25.00 a day for self-park to $35.00 a day for valet. ann1bell Posted December 20, 2010 Author #3 Share Posted December 20, 2010 We will deal with the parking. The map of the Fulton garage must be wrong. It shows that is it next door to the Hilton. Anyway, we did get a good deal on the hotel.

Good luck, and fun on your cruise: JimmyJames

firefly333 Posted December 21, 2010 #6 Share Posted December 21, 2010 Most people book direct to get free cruise parking. I talked to a lady this past week who got Hampton Inn? I think for $89, free breakfast and free cruise parking. I paid $99 for Holiday Inn, who shuttled me to the port and I parked in their garage at no extra cost. I was very very glad not to be in that parking mess at the port. I drove home today from New Orleans.
ann1bell Posted December 21, 2010 Author #7 Share Posted December 21, 2010 The Holiday Inn was 139 plus tax and a cab ride so we thought ours was comparable. I did not check the Hampton though.
