Hello ...

My niece and her new husband are on their honeymoon on the Carnival Legend out of Tampa yesterday.

They are coming in next Sunday and I need to know what time to pick them up. Looks like the ship gets in at 8am ... do I need to be there at 8??

Thanks in advance for your help ... happy cruising!

Could be awhile...depends on customs and/or if they're doing "self-assist" If the ship gets in at 8:00, I wouldn't get there any earlier than 9:00. You might want to call your niece that morning to see what the situation is.

Yesterday the ship was late getting back and debarkation started about 8:30 and was still going strong at 10:00. Most weeks it starts about 7:30 and is over by 9:00 - 9:15. I would find a place to have a coffee about 15 minutes away and let them call you as they leave the ship. You will be able to call them very early Sunday as cell phone service becomes local again even before the ship goes under the bridge around 4:00 a.m.
