What is there to do/see in FLL and MIA?

My husband and I are staying two pre-nights in FLL. We'd like to see FLL and Miami. Any suggestions on what to do, where to go and how to get there, i.e., FLL to MIA and back?

Thanks!

You'll have to google it but there is an all day boat trip from Fort Lauderdale to South Beach and the trip is fabulous.

While I haven't done that trip, we make the trip all the time by boat and the scenery is stunning.

You also get four hours to enjoy South Beach.

The Water Taxi is fantastic. Most hotels will have a brochure of it in their racks. It is like a hop on hop off bus and the ticket is good for a full long day. Cost is $13 per person or seniors are $11 per person.

There are 15 stops but you can stay on the Water Taxi as long as you like. Lots of nice homes to see and there is commentary.

Lots of restaurants on the many stops and other interesting things to see and do, even the beach.
