Hotel in Tampa ?

We will be sailing out of Tampa in Feb 2012 and my husband wants me to check on hotels. Any suggestions. We only need one night Saturday but we need 3 rooms, as we have 6 people (3 couples)

We are looking for nice but not too expensive. As we would rather spend our money on the cruise not on the hotel.

Thanks.

We stayed at the hampton inn rocky point, its located between tampa and clearwater, 20 minutes from the port of tampa. The room cost us $99.00 for the night which included parking for the week, breakfast, and transportation to and from the port.

we found chase suites hotel - they have a 2 bedroom condo, you can purchase the snooze and cruise special which includes trans to and from TPA and port and free breakfast buffet. We got a queen studio with hideabed for only $109. Bahama Breeze is right next door, fun place to have dinner and drinks. Plus they have a free shuttle within a 5 mile radius. oh, and it's reviews on trip advisor are great.

Chase Suites sounds about what we are looking for. Since we are just planning to be there one night, we do not want to rent a car.

I looked at the website, and it lists pool - but no pics. Is it a decent one? Our desire is just a nice, clean hotel, places to eat within walking distance & a pool to entertain the kids the evening before we set out on a cruise.
