OceanQueen Posted December 30, 2010 #1 Share Posted December 30, 2010 We are going on a cruise with another couple and we enjoy playing cards. Is there an area on the ship where we will be able to have the use of a table to play cards?
Krazy Kruizers Posted December 30, 2010 #2 Share Posted December 30, 2010 Either the Hudson Room or the Half Moon Room down on the Promenade Deck. Go past the Wajang Theater to get there.
DFD1 Posted December 30, 2010 #3 Share Posted December 30, 2010 We also enjoy playing cards, especially on days at sea. HAL's card rooms are just one more reason we enjoy sailing HAL ships. The card rooms over on NCL, Carnival and some of the others are sometimes almost non-existant.

Krazy Kruizers Posted December 30, 2010 #5 Share Posted December 30, 2010 You are welcome. I have also seen people playing cards at the tables in the Lido, tables around the pool.

Cathy-CA Posted December 30, 2010 #7 Share Posted December 30, 2010 There is normally a notice in the daily program about card players meeting in the morning and afternoon. If you play in the designated room and time, the ship provides cards, bridge score sheets and tallies, coffee and tea. However, there are so many public areas with tables suitable for four people, you will see people at other times and in other parts of the ship playing cards. The casino sells "used" (they still look very new) cards for $1 a deck if you don't want to bring your own.
