NavarreCruiser Posted December 31, 2010 #6 Share Posted December 31, 2010 Posted on the RCL board too. Just wondering which would be best for a 7 year old boy who is very social. Thanks Having been on both and having young grandkids, I'd say Freedom. A 7 year old is old enough to climb the rock wall. Unless he's tall for his age he can't do the flow rider. But he'll have great fun watching others. He can ice skate. They have a great H2O zone. It has a lazy river, a kids pool, splash buckets and a small pool about 4 feet deep. They water is fresh water. We are taking our 4 and 7 year old grandkids in March. Having said that, We've also taken them and their old cousins on many Carnival cruises and they've had wonderful times.
