And love it when you are on a ship that blows its horn back to them, some have and others haven't. Its just more fun when the ship responds.

 

Totally agree! I cannot argue with other posters who have mentioned ports that are perhaps more beautiful to sail out of - Venice, Sydney, San Juan - but for the pure fun of "embarking on another cruise", I love Fort Lauderdale.

Usually I'm up on deck somewhere, camera in hand.

 

This time, although it will be my first time sailing from Ft. Lauderdale I plan to be wherever the GB Packers game is on TV, drink in hand, screaming at the refs like they can hear me through the screen. :D

 

I'm sailing from Ft. Lauderdale again in February, so I'll catch the view then.
