OnVacation11 Posted January 3, 2011 #26 Share Posted January 3, 2011 We usually watch from the Promenade deck. Our favorite ports are FLL where we like watching all the other ships leaving ahead of us... and of course Venice !

jinxgirl Posted January 3, 2011 #28 Share Posted January 3, 2011 And love it when you are on a ship that blows its horn back to them, some have and others haven't. Its just more fun when the ship responds. Totally agree! I cannot argue with other posters who have mentioned ports that are perhaps more beautiful to sail out of - Venice, Sydney, San Juan - but for the pure fun of "embarking on another cruise", I love Fort Lauderdale. Cruzin-K Posted January 4, 2011 #29 Share Posted January 4, 2011 Usually I'm up on deck somewhere, camera in hand. This time, although it will be my first time sailing from Ft. Lauderdale I plan to be wherever the GB Packers game is on TV, drink in hand, screaming at the refs like they can hear me through the screen. :D I'm sailing from Ft. Lauderdale again in February, so I'll catch the view then. Go Pack Go!

hydrodriver831 Posted January 4, 2011 #31 Share Posted January 4, 2011 We enjoy being on our balcony as we pull away from the pier, and then we join the sailaway party!!! Lots of fun.:)
