rs12065 Posted January 5, 2011 #1 Share Posted January 5, 2011 Considering on going on an October, 2011 cruise to ports in the Mediterranean. One of the ports is Nice/Villefranche. Does anyone have any feedback regarding the tenders (length, sea conditions, etc.) and any suggesxtions regarding excursions. The cruise is on the Solstice. moyaroo Posted January 5, 2011 #2 Share Posted January 5, 2011 tender in the bay at Villefranche should be smooth as the harbor is as protected as one could hope for. From there look at Eze, Monaco, Nice, Grasse, St Paul de Vence. That should exhaust you well enough! Oh yes the Rothschild gardens in Juan les Pins. Rare kazu Posted January 12, 2011 #3 Share Posted January 12, 2011 Tender doesn't take long. On the French Riviera last year we used Sylvie (private tour) She was astronomical. It might be worth taking a look to see what she can do. Using your roll call, you could probably easily put a group together if you wanted. here's her email mailto:DiCristoSylvie@gmail.com and her website in case it is of help http://www.frenchrivieraguides.net/ enjoy your cruise. :D
