Fort Lauderdale Hotels with Restaurants

We are travelling to Fort Lauderdale in March for our cruise and arrive at about 9:30 pm. Does anyone have suggestions for hotels near the airport/cruise terminal that have restaurants? We are a group of 12 (2 families of 5 and grandparents) so don't want to have to go out to eat after travelling all day. Any suggestions of hotels that sleep 5 per room are also appreciated. The kids are all teenagers :eek: so we need some space! Anything up to $200/night. Thanks!

You might look at Embassy Suites on 17th st. There are lots of close restaurants for the family. And the teens will enjoy getting out of the hotel for a glimpse of Ft L I'm sure.

I can second the Embassy or The Hyatt Place as they are on top of each other. There is an Outback Steakhouse right in front of the Embassy that serves until 11PM not to mention a zillion other restaurants within spitting distance.

 

Don't limit yourself to a hotel that has a restaurant. They are usually overpriced with mediocre food.

Most hotel restaurants will be closed by the time you check in. If you stay at Hyatt Place north or Embassy Suites, Duffy's in Harbor Shops serves food late and is great for the family. They mostly have booths that seat 4-6 but they do have one longer table if available. It is hard to find a lot of hotel choices in your price range in March. Check Valuetrips to see if they have the Hyatt Place available for $169. You might be able to get the best price at ES on hiltonfamilymvp.com.
