Beer cans or bottles on Legend/Carnival

Just wanted to know how Bud, Miller-Lite and Corona was served? Is it in aluminium cans? plastic bottles? glass bottles? What oz's in each.

Bud and Miller products are in aluminium bottles, 16 oz. Not sure about Corona, I believe they are glass 12 oz (not 100% sure) Happy crusing.

Corona is served in fun plastic bottles with kind of weird tops that you can put the lime in. Bottled beer is always cheaper by the bucket. :)

FYI to those who don't know, you can order a bucket of any beer - 4 to a bucket - and save $2.00 for the bucket or .50 a beer. You can take it back to your room or anywhere around the ship for that matter. And if you don't want all of them open at once, you can do that too.

The only time we drink beer is by the pool so I cannot speak about what might go on at the inside bars, but around the pool NO glass is allowed, whether it is beer bottles, or glasses. Everything is either plastic or aluminum.

Which bar? At the Unicorn bar it is always in plastic.

Just a little tip if you want a Miller Lite. The Piano Bar serves it in draft and the glasses are twice the size of most other bars but the price is the same. The Casino bar also has Miller Lite on draft. The pool bars served the Miller Lite in the aluminum bottles and the Avalon pool bar ( the middle pool with the stage area), did serve the Coronas in the funny plastic cup thingy. Not sure about the Bud.

On the Lido deck around the pool all beer will be in plastic bottles or aluminum cans. Corona comes in glass bottles and is transfered into those odd looking plastic bottles.

Is an aluminum bottle, a bottle or a can? A bottacan, or a canottle?

 

Grolsh only comes in ceramic stoppered glass bottles. In the pool area bars they pour it into plastic cups.

Which makes no sense because you can get a mixed drink by the pool in a glass......

Princess serves glass bottled beers by the pools and Royal Caribbean serves glass bottled beers.

 

It must be because a glass beer bottle can make a nice weapon.....and Carnival could have had problems with this before....
