Pier 91 is less than 3 miles and about 10 mins, a straight shot down Elliott, from Bell Town Pier on the waterfront downtown (Pier 66).

ALMOST... Once you pass the Olympic Sculpture Park you need to hang a right to go right along the waterfront. Otherwise you'll be on a one way street that connects to the Viaduct

I know that, but obviously I wasn't giving exact directions, just noting it was was a short direct route from Belltown to Pier 91 and not meandering all over the city.
