If I'm the organizer of the slot pull I use my cruise card in the machine and make sure that there is no $ on the card. The last one that I did without thinking I withdrew my card to put into the bag with other cards to be drawn out and the $ on the machine was automatically put on my card. Everyone chuckled when this happened.

If you wind up with winnings to split with other people you take your card to the cashier cage and they will cash it out.

Tom:)

Hi Tom, It looks like I may have to organize the slot pull, I have volunteers to help assist but no one stepping up to run it. Can you please help !

Do you have a spread sheet you used to keep track of the winnings?

Do you have to select the machine before the slot pull? Doesn't that allow a crew member to 'adjust' the machine, do you know what I mean?

Does everyone put their own money into the machine, in other words the person playing puts all their money in $15 or $20 and then plays 5 pulls at $3.00 each.... or do you load the machine will everyone's money and then you keep track of what each player earns?

How do you divide the money?

I need HELP !

We all need to give a big THANKS👋😀 to Ann for helping so many people organize a Slot Pull.

I have been using her spread sheet, (I had to self train myself on using a spreadsheet) & her instructions are excellent.

I agree no reason to notify the casino manager. I always look for a $1 Wheel of Fortune slot machine.

I have someone help me with the spreadsheet, someone will usually agree to help. We collect everyone’s key card, I put them into a bag, & collect $15 from everyone & mark that we collected there money. We count the money & make sure that it matches the number of people. Then the $ is turned into some larg bills which are fed into the machine. Cards are drawn out one by one for peoples turns. I try & encourage people to cheer everyone on. If someone gets the right combination & you get to spin the top wheel it’s easy with the excitement to forget how many spins someone had.

On my last cruise on the Caribbean Princess there was a Phillipeano casino staff person whom I became friends with on another cruise, I was in the Philippines in the Navy, & when I mentioned our Slot Pull she provided me some bingo cards for everyone to have.

I make a flyer with the location of the casino & find photos to include & I include a map of the ship deck to show the meeting location.

In planning the slot Pull I have people on my Roll Call email me with there first name & stateroom number to put onto my spreadsheet. I send them my flyer with the details. I only mention that I’m planning a slot pull. People email me to be included.

If you would like a copy of my flyer email me at trbarton743 at aol dot com & put Slot Pull Flyer in the subject line.

I away on Saturday on a cruise so if I’m not able to reply right away I will when I return.

Tom😎

Thank you so much Tom for the kudos. I really do like some of your ideas that you have as to how to collect all the money and the fact that you have a slot for flyer.

Enjoy your pending cruise and I will be emailing you for a copy of the flyer.

Bon Voyage

Hi Ann & trbarton and everyone else who has contributed to this thread!  I've been studying various threads on Slot Pulls and this one has been invaluable!!!  Thank You!

If you or anyone else can share the slot pull spread sheet, I would be extremely thankful!  I am hosting a Slot Pull on the Princess Grand during the Dec 3, 2019 Cruise to Hawaii.

Again, Thank you!!  I hope we have as much fun as you all were able to create!!

I have organized four slot pulls.  The only thing I do differently is to have each player/couple put the money in individually.  I watch to be sure they put in correct amount.  I do not give any change and I do not want to handle their money before the game begins.  Also, I do first come, first served for order of playing.  Happy gaming!

So agree as I handle my Slot Pulls the same way you do. Each person puts in their own money when they want to come up and take a spin on the machine.

Here’s what I do for the slot pull order. Since I have a spread sheet sorted out by stateroom number I just go down the sheet in the order on the sheet. This is simple & real easy to follow.

Don’t know if I’ve mentioned this before but I collect $16 but keep $1 so that someone gets something extra at the end. I’ve done a number of slot pulls where nobody got anything.

I have been able to find a volunteer who keeps track of the spread sheet & what people did on their turn.

Once by mistake I pulled out my card & all of the money when onto my card.

At the time of the tournament I’ve found that the casino staff will give us something that we can use.

Hey! I've also got a spreadsheet and some info docs to share - see attached. Info doc is the text I cut and paste into a CC post to let folks know Might be the same as you have, but willing to share. I've done the same thing, as Tom - have everyone put their own money into the machine so that they know what happened. I also use a spreadsheet on a clipboard to keep track of names and amounts. Admittedly, it's been a long time since I've hosted a slot pull so things may have changed! Good luck and have fun!

Have sent you the email with the spreadsheet and some more info.

Ann do you still maintain your Slot Pull spreadsheet? Would you be willing to link it in your reply or send to muechie @ gmail dot com? I’m organizing a couple and could use that to help streamline it. Thank you in advance, muechie❣️

A suggestion…Don’t have everyone put their $ one x one as the machine may time out.

I have people put $ into the machine when it’s their turn.

I’ve enclosed a flyer that I use. If you would like a copy send me a email at trbarton743 at aol dot com I’ll send you a copy.
