SanDiego Taxi to Peir stop

I know the trip from the airport to the pier is short but has anyone had a cab driver stop for soda or wine on the way? Are there places close to grab some?

The closest place to the dock is the Rite Aid pharmacy at 1411 Kettner Boulevard. I don't know if this link to Google maps will work?

It is not the largest selection.

You will find more if you pass the cruiseport and go further into downtown San Diego to the Ralphs supermarket near the Horton Plaza mall.
