Here is a link to some pictures we took on our cruise, Jan.8-13th. Port Canaveral, Sea Day, Cozumel, Sea Day, Key West, Port Canaveral. I haven't had a chance to caption the photos but I thought some of you might enjoy seeing the Sun.

Ha, I just took a look at your album as we were onboard as well and my family and I are in the background of your first picture :)

I wondered if anyone from here would find themselves in the pictures. :)

Glendy,

I am glad you had a good trip, I remember when you were asking about the SUN before deciding to book. Was it as good as you were expecting or did some things not meet your expectations?

Thanks, for asking. :)

We had a wonderful time and the things that were most important to us were perfect. The stern balcony was amazing. I will find it very difficult NOT to have a stern balcony on another cruise.

Our room was kept in perfect shape. We had a great room steward. We asked him, Miguel, if he could get us another lounger on the balcony and he did. So we had two loungers, a chair, and a little table and got around just fine. We never used the chair again after we got the loungers. They were the perfect height for laying back and gazing at the beautiful water. Oh and we asked for a couple of robes and he delivered. Just ask a reasonable request and I believe a room steward will do what he can to deliver.

We also received gifts of red wine from someone and also sparkling wine and about a dozen delicious chocolate covered strawberries.

On our anniversary we ate at East Meets West Steakhouse and LOVED it. The steak was delicious and the Speak Easy Martinis were yummy! We were serenaded with "Let Me Call You Sweetheart" and given a nice little cake. I forgot to take a picture of the cake before we ate it so I took a picture of the empty plate with the forks and Happy Anniversary sugar sign that was on top. :D

We really kept to ourselves, seeing only two shows, no casino time, and limited time off the ship in port. We just wanted to spend time together. It was very romantic, relaxing, and rejuvenating. Exactly what we needed.

Hi Glendy, Glad you had a great cruise. I'm on the Sun in March (inside room) and again in November (balcony). Thank you so much for sharing the photos. :)

I'm glad that you enjoyed the pictures. I intended to take a lot more pictures of the ship to share with others here but I got side tracked by love. ;)

I think the OP stated they stayed on ship mostly.

What do you like to do? There is the Dolphin swim or encounter (Which I have done before and it is great)

There's some Mayan ruins you can tour (Dad did it and liked it a lot)

There's some beach resorts you can do (I'm not a stay all day at beach person, but others enjoy this)

There's a cooking class everyone raves about and some have done more than once (I have that booked for this coming cruise and am excited)

There's some sort of Tequila tasting that sounds interesting.

There are plenty of shops and an internet cafe a few blocks from pier and let's not forget Margaitaville too!

I would suggest you go to the ports of call board and see what people are saying and then go to NCL's website and look at what they offer... that should give you an idea. ;)

Hi, I remember some discussion back before you booked your cruise. I'm so glad to you went and enjoyed the trip. I'm enjoying looking at the pictures. Which reminds me of my trip, and that I need to get my rear to Walmarts (or some other store) and get a photo album for my pictures.:D

Thank you, it's nice to be remembered. :) I'm glad you enjoyed my pictures. I really wanted to do a detailed photographic documentation of the ship but I was having way too much fun with my husband to justify taking time to walk around the ship taking pictures. :D

You're correct, we didn't spend much time off of the ship. Just walked around some shops in the "tourist" area and got back on. We didn't purchase one item. I just wanted to get some pictures of the beautiful ship from Cozumel. :D

Wow? Nothing? We usually end up buying some Tequila to take home and I like to get some 'real' hot sauce. lol!

Nothing. Hard to believe, I know.

It felt a little wrong but, at the same time, oh so right. :D

I took more pictures than I had realized, however very few of the inside of the ship.

Did you share your pictures somewhere? I would love to see them. :)

No, I'm still somewhat computer "illerate".:( I'm doing good to get the pictures uploaded to Walgreens. Tried CVS once and got totally fustrated. (My daughter endend up doing this for me). Some day if I have time I'll try to figure out how to get a few here.

Great photos. Thank you so much for sharing. My husband and I are sailing in a few weeks for our Anniversary and we have the same thought. We have a 9month old and are just looking for some time as a couple. The only bad thing about your photos is now I want a Balcony but there are not any left :(. Can you tell me about the weather. Was it nice and warm?

Thanks again! Happy belated Anniversary.

Thanks again! Happy belated Anniversary.

It was chilly for us (Native Floridians) when we left Port Canaveral, in the low 60's and breezy. It was warm the next morning at sea, very warm in Cozumel and on the following sea day to Key West. By the time we got to Key West the next morning it was 60 degrees and windy so we wore jackets. :D

Keep checking the website for available cabins. I noticed that some were opening up as the day approached. I don't know if it was because of upsells or just people getting room assignments. I practically staked the site after booking and was able to get that aft balcony. I just called and changed my guarantee room to our cabin. paid the small difference in price, and it was ours! They were only available for a few days before they were all snatched up.

And Happy Anniversary to you! :)

I hope you get it figured out soon. It is a fun way to share your pictures with family and friends without sending them a printed copy. :)

Try webshots or picassa.
