We will be visiting Gravdal and cannot make up our minds regarding the Princess Excursions offered. The two we are thinking of are Scenic Drive & Ballstad visiting beaches of Haukland and Utakleiv or Svolvaer, Henningsvaer, Ice Bar & Gallery. Have any of you been on either of these tours? I have posted on the shore excursion forum too but it seems more chatty here.

We went with Cunard last August and prebooked their island tour. Can't really advise you about Princess but make sure you book one of them. With Cunard unless you had book their tour there was no possibility of doing the tour yourself and there is nothing to see where you are anchored. - Cunard had booked all the transport on the island and even then there was a long waiting list of people hoping for a cancellation. Beautiful islands and well worth visiting.

I was going to recommend that you post on the Shore Exc. board for No. Europe, but see that you did that already.

 

Have you tried looking at TripAdvisor.com? It might help. Also, try YouTube. Sometimes, there are good videos of shore excursions done by professionals and non-pros too.
