Radiance of the Sea with kids..anyone?

Hi I posted this in the RCL page already but I was interested in some more input. I am considering the ROS for a short cruise with my DS who is 7. With 2 days at sea, I was hoping that there would be enough for him to do. And how the kids clubs were. We would be traveling not on a school break.

Thanks.

There will be plenty to do for a 7 year old on sea days....but how many kids there will be will depend on when and where you're going! Even during times when school is in session, there are home-schooled kids, and folks who just take their kids out of school...

He'll find someone to play with!

We (me, hubby, son-11, daughter-5) sailed on ROS for Thanksgiving last year. This was our best cruise thus far. Our 11 yr old lived in the kids club, we saw him for meals only. The staff was fun and friendly. The planned activities throughout the day for kids as well as the family were great. My husband and son really enjoyed the dodge ball games. The ship has plenty of things to keep children busy during sea days: mini-golf, rock climbing wall, shuffle board, kid pool with slide, pool table and more!

There will be less children since its not a school break but to me that is a plus.

Let me know if you have any other questions. Happy sailing!! :D
