Got Tequila? Posted January 17, 2011 #2 Share Posted January 17, 2011 Never sailed on a ship just after drydock. Should we have any concerns? Thanks! Mike The JEWEL had a bit of an incident with a crane and left drydock late last month, causing the following cruise (12/5/10) to be cut short by a day. Stuff happens, the cruise line will do it's best to be ready to cruise, because they want to make $ and they don't do that by delaying passengers. welove2cruise* Posted January 17, 2011 #3 Share Posted January 17, 2011 We will be getting on the day you get off. Will you be posting here while you are onboard? I would love to hear what you thought of the drydock and any changes.
Sauer-kraut Posted January 17, 2011 #4 Share Posted January 17, 2011 You might encounter some workmen around doing the last bit of painting or still putting carpeting in. It shouldn't be anything too major so I wouldn't worry. Just a hint, next time wait a month after dry dock to sail, that way everything will be done, even if there is a delay. ;)
