Hey Avidsnorkeler, how was your trip and where is your cruise review now that you are back. We are on the next 14 day itinerary in April and would love your feedback. Especially looking forward to hearing about your snorkel adventures and tours that you booked on your own. Did you ever find a place to snorkel on your own in Fakarava?

I have spent a lot of time writing to various people in Fakarava and managed to get a motu picnic together.

 

I wrote to the White Sands resort formerly le Maitai dream and they have a nice dock from which you will be able to snorkel but no response. Suggest when you get there you wander over and just ask them. If you are half a day in Fakarava its hard to get anything going. If you are looking for a contact in Rangiroa I can help as I had made arrangements with Leon to take us to the pink sands but had to cancel since we are there only half a day.
