Formal Night Buffet!

On formal nights, if you go to the buffet instead of the Main Dining Room, do you still get the same food. I.E. can I get prime rib and lobster? How about multiples of either? Thanks!

You wouldnt find lobster on the buffet. They might have the other meat choices, but it also might be the meat from the night before. Buffet isnt exactly the same choices ever .. at least to me.

No lobster on the buffet. You can go thru the line as many times as you want or can ask for extra while going thru.

I have seen prime rib on the buffet at night but have no idea which night.

There is prime rib at the buffet on the 1st formal night. It is at the carving station. If you want it cooked more than what is carved (ie rare -> medium), ask the cook to cook the piece longer for you.

 

I have never seen them serve the same meat at the carving station served 2 days in a row.

On our last cruise, the line for the dining room was too long (YTD) when we wanted to go, so we went to the buffet. We also found prime rib there, but no lobster.
