Transportation in Gran Cayman

We are going to GC next week and I still cannot decide what to do where. My plan was Turtle farm and 7mile beach.

 

THing I am not sure about is how to get to each point. Is it easy to get a taxi? is it safe where ? how much does it cost?

 

we are going with 2 small kids, so big tours might be to tight schedule for us. It is easier to plan less and relax. But tours offer transporttation .. hmm

I am planning to do the same thing too when we go there in Feb. I have 2 small kids and you can purchase ticket online from http://www.boatswainsbeach.ky/tickets/index.cfm. It give you 20% off with free transporation from/to pier. I am thinking to take a cab or bus to 7 miles beach after we are done in Turtle farm but not sure if it is safe to do that or any bus or cab available at Turtle farm to 7 miles beach....

There will be tons of taxis (really shared-ride vans) at the pier and at the Turtle Farm. It's very safe and easy to take a taxi in Cayman. Not sure about the costs for that route, sorry.
