mlbcruiser Posted March 1, 2005 #1 Share Posted March 1, 2005 We were in St. Lucia in Nov. of '03 and I do not remember there being tour vendors there that you can just get off the ship and hook up with like in other places we've been. However, we had an excursion already booked and since it was by boat, we never got away from the dock area - not even to the "mall" by the pier until AFTER our tour, and then it was only 20 min. before we had to depart. So perhaps there were tour vendors there that we didn't see. Or maybe they are in Castries? We are interested in snorkel and boat/water oriented tours the most, but also perhaps land tours. Any info. will be appreciated.

rollingstone Posted July 10, 2005 #3 Share Posted July 10, 2005 We are booked with St Lucia Frank in Nov. It was a good price and he had good word of mouth reviews.
Boatingmom Posted July 10, 2005 #4 Share Posted July 10, 2005 Rolingstone- FYI when you book with Frank he fills up a van and if his van is full he puts you in his friend Christopher's van. That happened to us this past April when we had reserved and confirmed a private family tour with Frank. We had no choice once we were there but to go with Christopher. He was OK but Frank was more personable. The tour is long and the roads have many turns and bumps. Would definitely not book a land tour with either again.
