Looking for input on which ship you liked better.

A little bit about us:

group of 6, ages 35-45 (kids at home)

been on Carnival Miracle

like: to drink (not alot at one time :p),comics, casino, good food, games and relaxing

Ok have to admit I love a big flashy ship with lots of lights and bling!!

Also what do you think about a room on the 6th deck above the dinner room, disco and such, would it be loud?

Thanks :D

Ships are pretty much identical. Liberty is newer. Both have screens on Lido (it was added to Glory) comedy clubs, etc. Go with price/itinerary. (we are sailing on Glory again on 2/20) As for cabin on 6th floor, we try to avoid those because of noise issues with showroom, casino, lounges below. If you have to, try to get a room above the shops, as they close earlier than the other "stuff", and you may have less noise.

This is excellent advice. My response would be identical as to which ship and be careful about the 6th deck cabin.

I have been on both and they are both Conquest class ships so the layout will be the same. If the itineraries are not a deal breaker then my nod goes to the Liberty just because I like the theme of the ship over the Glorys. The Libertys interior is styled more like a classic cruise ship not so loud and in your face.

They are both great ships. They have the exact same layout - just different decor. I'd book based on price and itinerary although the Liberty is probably my favorite because of the two great cruises we had on her and the week we sailed the Glory just had an "off" crowd.

As to the deck 6 room, I was on that deck for the first time on the Valor last week. Never again. We were over the sports bar and heard every cheer from every score from every football game all week. I could even hear the TVs in the sports bar blaring. I did also notice as we walked aft one night that I could hear the disco pretty clearly in the hallway back there on deck 6. We still had a great cruise but I'll pay for a higher deck next time.
