We are so excited for our first cruise on the NCL Sky. But have lots of questions. What activites are there for our 3 and 1 year old? Is there babysitting on the ship at night If we want to go to a nice restaurant alone? Do i need the recommended $75-100 per person per day for the kids as well.

Also, we would love any suggestions on hotels to stay at in Miami near the port.

Additionally any reccomendations on excursions on the island would be great?

Should we just pay for the excursions when we get to the island or plan to purchase them on the ship?

Thanks so much for the advice!,

There are two forums that are well-equipped to answer both questions; one is the Family Cruising forum and the other is the NCL forum. Since your questions pertain to that specific line, you will get the most accurate answers there:

Welcome to Cruising!

(IIRC, there is no service charge for under 3, so you littlest one would not be charged service fees. But, there is no private babysitting at all and only group babysitting for ages 2-12, so your littlest one won't be eligible--but check with these other boards to be sure)

Check the NCL board and the family cruises board for advise on what to do with children that young. Also check the Florida departure board for hotel recommendations in Miami.

I'm not sure what you mean by $75-$100/per day?????

Unless you are staying in a suite the cabins on the Sky are very small so be prepared.
