Hi has anyone been here, do you have to pay to get in and if so what is included. I have read a lot about Margaratville but not sure if its worth a look.

I think you can look around for free

There was a pool there but we just went in for lunch

I was not impressed

It is like everything else you are paying for the BRAND

The gift shop is on the first floor, upstairs is the pool and restaurant, it's free

The Margaritaville in Ocho Rios or MoBay is a lot of fun...IN GC the food was good, service was great, the pool is nice....no fee to go in and look around.

We popped in briefly (free), had 1 drink, but left because it was so noisy. We asked about food, but they were very busy, and said to get food would be at least an hour wait.

 

But I'm sure it depends on how many ships in port that day.

I'll take Mo'Bay or Ocho any day, GC was not that great to us. It's free but not much fun.

We had a great time there in 2009!! They have a pool with a slide and there is a pretty nice view from the top of the slide of the water. We just had a few margaritas, played in the pool and browsed the shop but it was worth the hour we spent there!! Didn't have any problem with noise or getting our orders placed. Great place to say "I've been there!"!!!

 

We are heading back to GC in February and will definately stop again!

We were there last week. Noise level very high as they had different contests going on on main stage. Took forever to order but food came right away (before our drinks actually). Saw people sitting by the pool/water slide but didn't ask about a fee to use it.

 

Negril has a calm/laid back margaritaville also!!
