That's a good 'heads up' for those who have booked or were thinking of booking currently offered itineraries during that time period (July 27-Aug 12) as it sounds like the plan is to berth the ships there during the whole event ... and if so, dropping the itineraries now on offer.

we were thinking of going to the London Olympics but also wanted to take an Azamara cruise in 2012....combining the two would be ideal...will have to watch the itineraries carefully next month. Thanks.

I was thinking of booking the Journey's 7/27 itinerary. :( It looks great. Maybe they will move it up to earlier in July. If not, we'll probably do Princess' British Isles cruise and take a three day vacation in Paris after the cruise.
