Skagway Emerald Lake Passport/Restaurants?

2 questions:

 

1) Can we do this trip without a passport? while drivers license and birth certificate work?

 

2) Any good places to eat on the trip???????

Sorry, don't know of places to eat. Many people stop at Cinnamon Cache - not sure if it is open this year or not.

Your birth certificate and driver's license are all that you need to get into Canada. There is a place to eat just before Emerald Lake that we are going to try when we are there in May. It is called the Cinnamon Cache and has famous cinnamon buns and other light fare. That is about it for food unless you go on to Whitehorse. Have you checked out the Explorenorth website?
