paminohio Posted January 28, 2011 #1 Share Posted January 28, 2011 I have searched the forum and it seems that the taxi ride would be $25 flat - is that correct? Thanks, Pam
brunello22 Posted January 28, 2011 #2 Share Posted January 28, 2011 Yes, that is correct.
JohninDC Posted January 28, 2011 #3 Share Posted January 28, 2011 Unless it has changed in the past month or so it was a flat rate of $24+tip, not $25. Two cabs should do it for 6 of you and the ride takes under 15 minutes unless you hit traffic. ;) If you have little ones car seats are required by law -- tip your driver extra to cover the time he spends installing and removing your car seats. Good luck!:)
beachgal58 Posted February 1, 2011 #4 Share Posted February 1, 2011 You can get a van to hold all of you. The fares r posted on the side windows, they r in zones. When you call for a cab, request a van.
JohninDC Posted February 1, 2011 #5 Share Posted February 1, 2011 Not sure the van could hold all 6 plus bags - don't forget the driver needs a seat! -- unless they travel a lot lighter than my family members do. :o
ladyd11933 Posted February 1, 2011 #6 Share Posted February 1, 2011 I alo think you will need 2 taxis, we use a taxi van for our family of 4 and luggage and know that we would not be able to fit 2 more people.
puchi Posted February 2, 2011 #7 Share Posted February 2, 2011 I have searched the forum and it seems that the taxi ride would be $25 flat - is that correct? Thanks, Pam You can hire a van and ride all at the same time in the same vehicle with your luggage, Try QLS Transportation 1888-757-0021 If I'm not wrong, taxi fare is about $30 dollars and you will need 2. Good Luck :)

Langley Cruisers Posted February 2, 2011 #9 Share Posted February 2, 2011 There's no way a van will hold 6 plus luggage. Two cabs, you'll be fine.
monicajay Posted February 2, 2011 #10 Share Posted February 2, 2011 There's no way a van will hold 6 plus luggage. Two cabs, you'll be fine. Depends on the van. I have seen big ones. Ford Econoline style. Ask the dispatcher.
