Independence of the Seas

Hello.

I am off on the IOS in April. I have twin boys who will be 2 at the time of sailing, does anyone know whether babysitting service is available on the first night??

I really wish IOS had a nursery like a few of the other RC ships.

Also, does anyone have any experience of double buggies??

We are travelling in a group of around 70, and we have 2nd sitting, and I am really worried about the boys in the evenings, and whether they will sleep in their pushchairs, whilst we are out and about!

Lastly, are the childrens clubs open as normal on the first evening?

There are a few children travelling in the group.

Thanks

Lxx

RCI is supposed to be getting the nursery on some of the ships (other than Oasis/allure!)...I don't know when that goes into effect, tho.

As soon as you board, go and get the babysitting arranged...I don't know if they'll have them the 1st night...they should, tho!

The kids clubs are only open for open house and registration on the first night. The kids can only visit with their parents during the open house, but not stay.

I've never seen kids in the MDR in strollers. There really isn't anywhere to store them.

Thanks for the info, I had a feeling this was the case.

I was thinking the same about the MDR and pushchairs, we do have a large section of the restaurant reserved, which may make this more straightforward, however, probably not practical.

I think I may need to re-evaluate a few things.
