rickcop44 Posted February 1, 2011 #1 Share Posted February 1, 2011 Carnival just called with an upsell offer. We leave on the Legend in three weeks and we have a gorgeous aft vista suite (7298). Carnival has offered a grand suite to us for $500 per person more. The aft vista has a total of 475 square feet (cabin and balcony) vs 415 square feet for the grand suite. I'm inclined to decline the offer as we booked the aft vista suite specifically for the balcony. The aft vista balcony is 220 square feet vs 115 square foot balcony on the grand. So, what would you do?

vermonter16 Posted February 1, 2011 #8 Share Posted February 1, 2011 If you booked specifically for your balcony - stick with what you have, otherwise you might be disappointed. Balcony sounds like it is very important to you so keep what you've got!
rickcop44 Posted February 1, 2011 Author #9 Share Posted February 1, 2011 Thanks everyone! We're staying with the aft vista suite. In fact, even if they had offered a free upgrade, I most likely would have declined. There's something about that HUGE balcony!
