kim826 Posted February 3, 2011 #1 Share Posted February 3, 2011 I am trying to arrange shuttles for my upcoming cruise. Can anyone help with which pier is used out of Los Angeles? Thanks for your help!
roger001 Posted February 3, 2011 #2 Share Posted February 3, 2011 I can't remember the pier number from last year. However, they are all close together with lighted signs approaching the cruise ship dock area identifying which ship is at which. I'm sure all the shuttle operators know it well. If you just tell them which ship you will be on, they will find it easily.
Rare mking8288 Posted February 3, 2011 #3 Share Posted February 3, 2011 I believe that as long as you inform the shuttle operator/dispatcher that you are going to the Port of Los Angeles for the World Cruise Center at San Pedro, you will be fine - not to be confused with the nearby Port of Long Beach (container port)- in arranging transportation pickup & dropoff. There are 3 berths next to each other, and as you enter the port area, there will be signs and security will direct the shuttle/taxi & pax cars dropping off on where to park for the short walk to drop off the luggage & go inside for security screening & check-in. Check out the NCL Roll Calls for the Star for LA's MR sailing for the most updated info, including boarding protocols announced over the PA system based on the #'s you picked up upon arrival (unless you are suite/above categories or have priority status, etc.)
