TheHappyWanderer Posted February 5, 2011 #1 Share Posted February 5, 2011 On the new Solstice class ships is there a science to picking a certain balcony cabin? Are there some cabins that are unique and worth requesting? Thanks.
Gonzo70 Posted February 5, 2011 #2 Share Posted February 5, 2011 The balconies on the slanted portion of the hump are significantly larger (some just under 2x larger, some just under 3x larger than normal). To see an example of what I mean by slanted portion of the hump, take a look at the Deck Plans on Celebritys website. As an example, on the Penthouse Deck rooms 1610, 1608 would be examples of rooms on the slanted portion of the hump. In addition to having a larger balcony, these rooms are also in a convenient mid-ship location as well. Definitely snag these rooms (or any others on the slanted portion of the hump) for the best value in a balcony stateroom). Each deck has similar cabins. It includes a spreadsheet put together by poster librarylady that has much information on cabins cruisers have reported back on. Phil
