Capt_BJ Posted February 6, 2011 #2 Share Posted February 6, 2011 I googled "cocoa beach cuban restaurant' and every place I could think of around here popped up - they have various reviews. The most "Cocoa Beach" one is http://www.robertoslittlehavana.com/2052873.html decent food but it isn't much to look at inside . . .
snelsonbrown Posted February 6, 2011 #3 Share Posted February 6, 2011 Does anyone know of a good place to get good Cuban food in the Caveral/Cocoa beach area? There is Rubio's which is located at 6550 North Atlantic Avenue about 3 miles south from the port - Javair who is the owner was born and raised in Cuba so yes the food is very authentic - He has the old style music playing and the food is good. Then there is Roberto's - I truly enjoy going to his place and seeing scenes of Cuba there. When I go there, it is like going back in my time --the food is also great and Roberto also was born and raised in Cuba. And then there is Vargas which is located at the "fork" when coming South - I also love Vargas for he too was born and raised in Cuba and I found the food excellent there also - Norm and I can not choose any one of these as our favorites for all 3 are. As a local, these are the tHREE places that I know of that feel I can recommend for the real authentic food. IF you tell them you are from this board, they will delight you with an extra treat. ENJOY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
