On Board Bookings

My TA was booking a 2006 SD voyage and was advised by SD personnel that I should book on board our March 20 SD I cruise as I would save an additional 5%. Anyone received this 5% by booking aboard? How easy is it to book aboard. Thanks for the info.

Jim, there were folks on our cruise who booked their next on board -- The AD, Jeff, handled it -- didn't hear anything about any difficulties doing so.

I know my travel agent and others who always refund half their 10% commission. So, unless you're worried about the rates going up (which they seem to be) you should be slightly better off making some interest on your deposit until you're ready to book.
