njhorseman Posted February 8, 2011 #3 Share Posted February 8, 2011 And by the way, the no alcohol policy is the cruise line's policy...it has nothing to do with the fact that you're embarking in New York . NCL has the same alcohol policy for all its ships in every port.
Daizie45 Posted February 8, 2011 Author #4 Share Posted February 8, 2011 I know that some ports look the other way when you pack alcohol in your suitcase. It's pretty easy to bring alcohol on the ship if you are leaving from some FL ports.
mjkacmom Posted February 9, 2011 #5 Share Posted February 9, 2011 rumrunner.com Or, you can call and ask for a bar set up (expensive, but cheaper than buying drinks, and nice if you want to drink it in the cabin). We ended up paying corkage on only half of our wine (we had a rolling cooler, plus my mom's bag, that had wine in it, DH went over to pay, and he didn't know the bag was full of wine). Lot's of talk over on NCL's board about the naughty room.
