P&O Ventura N110 2nd April 2011

We are going on this P&O cruise visting La Coruna, Bilbao, La Rochelle and Brest.

 

We are interested in visiting Compostela from La Coruna and the Guggenheim museum from Bilbao - but not witnh the ships excursions.

 

Has any one visited these ports and van offer advice ?

Sorry !!!!!!! should have typed the 22nd April 2011 for this cruise.

 

Any Cruise Critics visited these ports - and can advice on what to do on the port days ?

 

Ships tour to Santiago Compostela gives 4 hours in SC - and 3 hours travelling (1 and a half hours each way) - has anyone "done their own thing" to SC from La Coruna ?

We have booked the Compostela ships tour and will "do our own thing" on the other port days.

 

We had hoped to use the fast train from La Coruna to Santiago Compostela but for some reason there are only 3 trains on that day - and that does not fit in with ship schedules.

 

So a Ships Tour it is !!!!!!!!
