Fantasy-Need help on my Stateroom Location

Booking a spur of the moment cruise in 10 days!!! :eek:

Which cabin would you choose?

Fantasy U163 or U197? 2 Adults and an 8 year old.

Both cabins on the same side of the ship but I'm worried U163 is too close to the elevators??? Any input would be greatly appreciated!

I'm used to the newer ships so I'm a little nervous booking the oldest ship in the fleet...but the port is close to home for us.

I personally like closer to a elevator. I dont like using the public restrooms, and prefer to drop by my cabin, so Im getting more and more into a convenient location. Only one place which you arent, have I ever heard the elevators. They wouldnt bother you in my opinion.

Love cabins by the elevator...except for the Fantasy on verendah deck which really didn't bother me, I've never heard anything.

We have had cabins near and/or adjacent to the elevators...never heard a sound. The ships are constructed in such a way that noise, vibration and guest room noise are taken into consideration.
