buckeyefan10 Posted February 10, 2011 #1 Share Posted February 10, 2011 I was wondering of Carnival provides sea sick meds. I was told that one time they did. Also does the Casino take cash or do you have to use your S & S card? My mother likes the slot machines. Can you use coins? Thanks!

truchattycathy Posted February 10, 2011 #3 Share Posted February 10, 2011 I don't know if the seasick meds are free anymore. I have used the patch and loved it. No seasickness and you never know its there. As far as coins in the slots, no you use your S&S card.
BenjiRodney Posted February 10, 2011 #4 Share Posted February 10, 2011 Yes the slots take cash and you can also use your Sign and Sail if you wish. I do know that they charge for the sea sick pills. Not sure of the price, I did not need any last time.
Grits53 Posted February 10, 2011 #5 Share Posted February 10, 2011 The seasick meds at the purser's desk have been free in the past, but I'm not sure if they are still free. You can also get them from your cabin stewards. They'd rather prevent your "accidents" than clean up after you! I take Bonine, which I buy from any large drug store. I'd rather have my own with me than to have to go looking for a cabin steward or go to the purser's desk if I need it. I take one Bonine at night, beginning the night before the cruise, and it works well for me. In the casino, what I like to do is put cash into the slot machine at the beginning of the cruise. If I win anything, I will cash out onto my S&S Players Account and then use that money to play with for the rest of the cruise....or until it runs out. firefly333 Posted February 10, 2011 #6 Share Posted February 10, 2011 One thing to consider. The free seasick meds are 4 hours, so you have to take them again and again. I like chewable bonine, 24 hours, much easier to take. Just buy some and throw it in your suitcase. It doesnt cost that much.
