Celebrity recently changed their formal night policy to formal night dress code required in main dining room but not the specialty restaurants. Did Royal Caribbean also make this change?

Specialty Restaurants on RCI has always been smart casual.

It's only the dining room that is "formal".

Thanks for the helpful responses. My husband and I are taking an Alaskan cruise tour on Radiance of the Seas this summer and I have been debating about whether or not to bring clothes for formal night. Now that I know we can eat at Portfino's and Chops those nights I am thinking seriously about not packing any.
