The New Grand Princess

Got an e-mail from Princess today with the same artists impression of the ship post rebuild.

Good to see that the covered pool is still there as there was some speculation about the cover being removed.

I think the ship looks more elegant without the shopping cart handle, I am sure that opinions will differ over this very large visual change in the ships profile. End result is a ship that looks as elegant as it's newer and bigger sisters but without the extra passenger deck - will be looking at booking another cruise on her to see all the upgrades.

Only sad thing for us is that the wedding chapel is being relocated which means the place that we were married will be no more but we still have the memorioes, photographs and video.

We are going to assist in the renovation effort. We get on the Grand on Monday for two weeks and we plan to drink up all the alcohol and eat all the food to clear way for work to begin! It's the least we can do.

Please leave at least one beer for sail away on the 28th.
