Help!! Which apartment do I choose?

We have three adults and three older teenagers visiting Barcelona for the first time for three days pre cruise. We like adventure and would like to be close to the action but be able to sleep at night. I have researched many, many locations and apartments to rent and am trying to decide between the above two. Any suggestions or comments?

personally I prefer to stay near the ramblas,which is near the cruise port, this apartment seems quite far out. I tend to book through www.alpharooms.com or Barcelona30.com if I can help with anything else, let me know.

ok got it , yes that looks lovely, and a super area.. 5 minute walk to the ramblas and plaza catalunya, where you find the hard rock cafe.. some lovely buildings and great architecture in the gotica area. Also the area on the marina known has barcelonetta is nice to stroll around, bars and some great fish restaurants. xxxx:):)

The vrbo apt has a great location near Plaza Catalunya and looks beautiful. I'm not sure what apt you are looking at the other website. Is it the loft? That one is out in left field, not a good location at all.

its the Placa del Pi one , they need it to sleep at least 6, it looks like a great choice to me and seems a good price x

We rented an appartment on the tiny Placeta del Pi ( on the other side of the church from Placa del Pi ) in 2007 . Found it to be a great location - area full of character - good restaurants - easy walk to the market on Las Ramblas - not far from the hop on bus at pl. Catalunya- church worth a visit ( had a music competion when we were there ) - local market on the w/e with paintings etc.

Only one thing you might want to check with the rental agency about - we were woken up most mornings around 5 am when the squares were washed .Our bedroom window faced the Placeta . (Also had that in Paris when the steet was washed early in the morning !!!)

We spent 6 days in Barcelona and are looking forward to a port day there in May.
