bunchesofun Posted February 11, 2011 #1 Share Posted February 11, 2011 I was doing a price check on the cruise and when I get to the part where you are supposed to pick your cabin, the cabin we are booked in is still showing as available. Should we be worried? Should I call my PVP? We booked two weeks ago.

Hope all turns out well.:) Bill
bunchesofun Posted February 11, 2011 Author #4 Share Posted February 11, 2011 Carnival's phone number is busy so I just emailed my PVP telling her about it and asking her to get back with me. Let's hope there's no problem.

bunchesofun Posted February 11, 2011 Author #6 Share Posted February 11, 2011 Yep, the 800 number was busy. I just tried again and got through but only got my PVP's voice mail. I left a message. Might be overkill, but hey, it was quite a shock.

bunchesofun Posted February 11, 2011 Author #9 Share Posted February 11, 2011 Just got off the phone with my PVP and she says that it is showing as "not available" in her system as it is reserved for us and to not worry about it.

klmorg Posted February 11, 2011 #11 Share Posted February 11, 2011 How odd... your cabin should not be showing as available when it's not.
maggieworkman Posted February 11, 2011 #12 Share Posted February 11, 2011 Maybe you clicked on the wrong week? You can check on your cruise docs to see what room is listed there. Maggie
bunchesofun Posted February 11, 2011 Author #13 Share Posted February 11, 2011 Maybe you're right. I just tried it again, and it shows that Verandah deck is sold out. Maybe I panicked for nothing. Oh well, at least I know they still have my reservation! Time is going so slowly...
