Did you make it to Half Moon Cay?

Yes I have made it there 4 out of 4 times...

 

Grand Cayman though is another story...Only made it their 3 out of 5 times. But I think for that island 3 times is more than enough....

Yup - I was on the same cruise and was surprised to hear the announcement that we were unable to tender in due to winds.....made it to HMC once before and was definitely looking forward to it again.

 

But I have been on a tender in high winds/choppy seas (grand cayman) and it was quite a challenge getting everyone back on the ship!

 

I was very disappointed but what can you do? Tried to enjoy another day at sea! :)

 

 

We were downstairs waiting for the tenders to get to our excursion and they made the announcement. Totally shocked! Went up on deck before breakfast and no wind hardly so was kind of confused. Even standing waiting for the tender did not feel any movement. We were so looking forward to going over and doing our Jet Ski excursion. Oh well, what are ya gonna do... We still had fun...

No. We missed our entire itinerary last year, which included Half Moon Cay because of Hurricane Earl. We are trying the same cruise this year and hopefully we will get to see the three ports we missed last year.

I certainly hope we are able to make it to HMC. We've never been and it's the port I'm most looking forward to. Especially since we are going to get a private cabana :D

We were there January 2010 and it was cold!

We have been so many times that I didn't even get off the ship the last time.

 

We have never missed this port.

 

(nice port...I am just not a beach person)
