jobythebay Posted February 14, 2011 #1 Share Posted February 14, 2011 eating at the Pinnacle Grill on dress-up night or is the food in the dining room significantly better than usual night so we shouldn't miss out on that? Thanks
jhannah Posted February 14, 2011 #2 Share Posted February 14, 2011 The Pinnacle Grill is a lovely venue. Dressing up makes it even more special. The MDR, however, is always a little extra special on formal evenings. I'd say you can't go wrong either way.
Rare kazu Posted February 14, 2011 #3 Share Posted February 14, 2011 Food is subjective, but I have usually found that the formal dinner meals are usually better (or more appealing) than the standard MDR dinners. So, we normally go to the Pinnacle on one of the other nights. JMO though ;)
SilvertoGold Posted February 14, 2011 #4 Share Posted February 14, 2011 I would agree with kasu and jhannah, with the proviso that the Pinnacle can be very uneven, servicce and food-wise. We have often dined at the Pinnacle twice per cruise, with very good one night to just average the next. Some ships seem to be more consistent, but we have seen the variations in about 6 different Pinnacles and the only thing that was consistant was that you can't expect consistency!
