Tailors Danang , Hoi An, Hong Kong

Anyone have any experiences, recommendations on custom made suits, shirts on one day visits to these ports. Good idea or bad?

I have had suits custom made in Hong Kong and Bangkok, and was very pleased with the results and the price. Unfortunately, it was 20 years ago, so I can't remember names or addresses.

In Hoian they make you everything in a few hours. If you want I can get you the name of the tailor.

My friends been there 1 month ago, and other in December and they are very happy with the qualityies.

 

But when I have been in Hongkong, were the escalators are, there are many tailors aswell. If they make you a suit in 1 day, I dont know.

 

We had a suit from a tailor in Bkk, and it took them 2,5 days.

goya, thanks for the info. I now have an appointment with a tailor in Hoi An when we get there.
