mariner is just that much nicer then explorer...

Maybe. But form our experience on both ships Explorer shines. Part of that, I'm sure, has to do with the ship being our first experience on a Voyager class ship. However, our experience with the crew was also far better on Explorer. And, yes, I realize that crews change. Our dining room experience on Mariner was very sub-par. I won't go into the details here. I also thought that some of the art work on Mariner was horrible. Especially that found in the forward stairwell. And yes, I also realize that perception of art is also a very personal thing. I do prefer the setup of the Windjammer on Mariner.
