Pre-Cruise hotel in Tampa

Can anyone give me input on a pre-cruise hotel in Tampa? I just booked the Carnival Legend for July 3-10. We will be flying in the day before from Maine. I have read reviews about the Mariott Waterside, Chase Suite Hotel, and the Holiday Inn Express Rocky Point. Does anyone have any positives or negatives (or better suggestions) to these 3? I definately would like transfers from airport and to port the next day included. Thanks! :p

We're booked into the Springhill Suites Westshore (using Marriott Points) for April. Several other hotels are located in the same area near TPA - free airport shuttle and several dining and shopping options in the area. If the hotel does not offer a free shuttle to the port then a cab will cost about $25. Good luck! :)

Thank you! We decided to book the Chase Suite Hotel b/c it was a suite and we will be travelling with our children. It offers free transfers from the airport, breakfast in the a.m., shuttle to the ship, and shuttle from the ship to the airport upon return. I appreciate your info though. When are you setting sail?
