Tea on Carribean Princess

I haven't been on the Caribbean Princess but have been on the Golden, Star, and Grand. On them, afternoon tea is very nice. It's served in one of the dining rooms. Waiters bring various trays of treats by your table. One tray will have an assortment of small sandwiches, another will be pastries, another cookies. And then there are the scones. They're served warm with an option of strawberry jam and whipped cream.

On Princess, casual clothing at tea is fine. When we were on our cruise to New England and Canada, we'd frequently head directly there after coming back from shore excursions. Shorts and T-shirts are permitted in the dining room for breakfast, lunch, and afternoon tea. (By contrast, when we were on Celebrity, there was only one formal afternoon tea in the dining room. The rest of the days, goodies were served in the casual buffet area. Shorts were not allowed at the formal afternoon tea.)
