Margaritaville ?

Anyone been to Margaritaville in Cayman ?....thinking of going there on our cruise in March....any reviews would be apreciated, hows the food, atmosphere etc ... :)

Was there last in 2007. Bit pricey but always a fun time at Margaritaville! Hopefully I'll have time to enjoy a Perfect margarita there again in April.

Oops, we were at the one in MoBay, so I just deleted my comments. Overall, though, they will be kinda pricey with decent drinks and loud music. If you like that, you're good.

We were just there last week...and ended up walking out after about 20 mins when none of the waiters/waitresses would stop and take our order.

 

Guess after they seated us, they didn't want our money. :confused:

It is definitely a party place. We were there last April. One word of caution it is expensive. We ordered 3 sandwiches, 2 small margaritas and 2 soft drinks and it was $80.

There menu's look like the prices are in american money,but they are not and they don't tell you until you get your bill and they convert the prices to U>S> currency.

Not the best Magaritaville we've been too. GC is high price to begin with and the server was not great. The "pool" and slide are indoors and small. Give me Mo Bay anyday. Nancy

Yea . I have been to the one in Mo Bay and it was great .Will see how GC compares ! ....

We went there in 2007, it was okay - beer, nacho and burger kind of place. Fun atmosphere. Sorry about HalfPint's service - we've had that experience at all kinds of restaurants.

 

About the pricing - they are kind enough to put on their menus that pricing is in Grand Cayman dollars. Made sense to me - foreign country - foreign currency.

 

The best thing was its location close to the dock.

We also had a so-so experience, we tried to get involved in the dancing, etc., but they didn't encourage the group enough so the party never got started. The food was also 'meh'.
