Hello from the Crown

Hope you had a great cruise. I read on another thread that you had an 11am flight to catch and were concerned about debarkation. I am in the same situation. Debating whether or not to do self assist. What did you end up doing and what time did you end up getting to and thru the FLL airport.

 

Hi micdee, We were in the second group to disembark without carrying our luggage. We met in the casino at 8:00, grabbed our luggage and took the princess transfer to the airport. We were there about 8:45 (I think anyway) Our flight was changed to 11:25 but even without the change it was no problem. We were through security and waiting at the gate in no time at all. I wouldn't recomend walking off with your luggage unless you only have one bag each. When you get off you will have to take an escalator and they stand at the top and tell you that you need to keep one hand on the rail. We had too much luggage for that.

 

We opted for the transfer cause when we arrived at the port there was a long line of people waiting for cabs. There was no line up for cabs when we got off so you could easily take a cab. It would probably be faster since we had to wait for all the luggage to be loaded and then unloaded onto the bus.

 

I'll be writing a review but I'm pretty exhausted today. It was a fantastic cruise all around though :)

Thanks for updates from the Crown -- we just did B2B on her in January and miss her! (know what you mean about the Internet though)

 

If you see Sam could you please tell her hi from us (and unfortunately we forgot her email address). We're still talking about our "guest appearance" on the Wake Show.
