The age old question

Just found out our Sam's Club travel insurance won't cover a side trip/and in bound air travel because we aren't going directly to and from our cruise. We are planning on stopping in London for a few days on our way to Copenhagen for our Scandanavian cruise.

Can you recommend a Travel Insurance Company?

Toto offered good advice that shows many plans.

As an individual company, I use Access America and have filed a claim on hotels and flights I booked outside of the cruise line and they paid my claim promptly with out any problems.
